VI(H)DA
VI(H)DA is a contemporary dance piece directed by Kevin Magne, in collaboration with Nicolás Videla and Kenyo. The work creates a staging that exposes the experience of living with hiv from an affective, performative and metaphorical point of view, contributing to the socio-cultural field through destigmatization and education within the art of dancing and its sensitiveness. This project puts into perspective the experiences that have been excluded from traditional narratives in art, while, at the same time, exposes a community that has been marginalized in the social sphere, from which we must learn and resignify their experiences, especially in everything we can learn from the body, illness and collective relationships, creating a unique and propositional space for the contemporary field that is linked to the current socio-political dynamics and the diverse discourses that circulate in it.
