80 minutes
Evelyn Wittmann, a 74-year-old transsexual cabaret artist from Chile who escaped the Dictatorship, had her surgery in Colombia and settled in France, where she lives with three dogs in a small apartment in Lyon. Evelyn travels to Chile to sell her plot of land in Curacaví, where her other two dogs live.
Back in Chile, she revives memories of her past as part of the Blue Ballet of the Tía Carlina during the 1960s and the raid they experienced at the nightclub "Bossanova", where a police farce is intertwined with
a cinematographic staging that would end up being part of the 1969 film "Prontuario", a lost documentary that Evelyn wants to find to demand a compensation from the Chilean State. The search and reconstruction of a fragment of the film will end up revealing the fragility of memory and the failure of representation.
